​When we are talking about technology in our country, especially in Guayaquil, we should remember that on July 9, 1884, the first message in the telegraph was transmitted between Quito and Guayaquil that marked the beginning of the advance of Ecuadorian Telecommunications. We have to know that before that, we used to communicate with newspapers which informed us about the events that happened in our country. Finally, in 1929 the first radio was introduced in our country. With time our city was innovating the media, which changed a lot in those years. When computers and cell phones arrived, those changed the lifestyle of everybody being a new way to communicate with others
